Last evening before Missy and Thom get home. We thought we would go for a walk as there was a concrete truck pouring a patio down the street. The kids loved it. When the concrete truck left, he drove past our house and even honked at the kids! They sure loved it.
Here we are sitting on the floor waiting for "Mom and Dad" to get home. As we were sitting there they walked in! What a surprise. I am not sure the kids understood that they were home...they just stared at them for a few minutes. Eventually the smiles came!
And they all left. Peace and quiet in our household. The dogs came out and everything seemed back to normal.
But it was almost too quiet...

If your house is too quiet, they can come back?
Last night Tommy looked at Thom so sweet at bedtime and asked why we left them and didn't take them with. I think they need us home for a while!
